Farmers on Day Long Hunger Strike Across India

New Delhi , December 14 : Farmers across the country have intensified their agitation starting from today, December 14 with farmers’ unions across the nation sitting on a day-long hunger strike. At a press conference at the Singhu border on Sunday, December 13, where the farmers have been camping since November 26, farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni said the leaders will observe the hunger strike at their respective places. Dharnas will also be satged at various district headquarters. Meanwhile, ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Som Prakash met Home minister Amit Shah to discuss about the ongoing issue. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be observing a one day fast on December 14 in support of the protesting farmers. He also urged the Aam Aadmi Pary wokers to observe the same.
