Guwahati Rapido, Uber and Ola on Indefinite Strike

Guwahati, Dec 13: Two-wheeler taxi commuters of the city faced a major problem in the morning as riders of the different bike services have called for an indefinite strike from December 14. The drivers of Rapido, Uber, and Ola are staging a protest against the high rate of commission taken by the management despite lowering the fares. It was also informed that from 15th December, the four-wheeler drivers are to join forces for a protest until their demands are met. Several regular commuters availing these public services were seen facing difficulties today morning. It will be a great problem if the strikes continues for a longer period.
