COVID-19 Cases in India Cross 1 Crore Mark

New Delhi, December 19: India on Saturday, December 19 recorded another 25,153 new corona virus cases in the past 24 hours, pushing the country’s total number of cases to over 1 crore. Among the overall cases, the number of active Covid-19 cases stand at 3,08,751 while 95,50,712 have so far recovered . India’s death toll climbed to 1,45,136, according to the data provided by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research said that it has tested 16,00,90,514 corona virus samples so far, including 11,71,868 on Friday. The recovery rate has improved to 95.4%, and the fatality rate stood at 1.45%.
