Promod Boro-Led UPPL Combine Wins Trust Vote in BTC Council

Guwahati, December 24: Promod Boro of UPPL, who took oath as the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) on December 16, today proved his majority in the floor of the council. The speaker declared the UPPL combine to have won the composite floor test with 22 votes cast in its favour. Soon after the announcement, the Speaker adjourned the council. The voting to prove the majority was slated to begin at 10.30 am in the morning. However,the chaos and commotion inside the house delayed the process.
