Minoti Borthakur honoured with Veerangana Sati Sadhini Award 2020

Guwahati, December 25 :   Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal presented the Veerangana Sati Sadhini Award 2020 to the noted social worker and educationist Minoti Borthakur at Lakhimpur on Thursday.
The event was organized by the Cultural Affairs Directorate of Government of Assam in association with the Lakhimpur district administration.
On the same day, CM Sonowal also laid the foundation stone of the sub-divisional library, auditorium, football playground at the program.
During the program, CM Sonowal holds meeting with 70 communities across the state to prepare a road map for equal development.
The Assam Government has taken major steps to preserve the culture, language, literature of all communities.
