DTO to Resume Checking of Pollution Certificate from 31st December

Guwahati, December 26: The transport department has informed that strict action will be taken from January 2021, especially against vehicles plying without pollution certificate. Due to extended relaxations, vehicles releasing smoke and pollutants have become a common sight in Guwahati. As per the transport department currently 38 permanent as well as mobile testing centres are active in Guwahati, where citizens can get their vehicles checked.
