Pregnant woman protester dies at Assam Medical College Hospital

Dibrugarh, January 8:  A pregnant woman protestor, who participated in the ongoing agitation demanding rehabilitation of 1,480 families of Laika and Dodhia forest villages died at Assam Medical College Hospital (AMCH) on Friday.The woman has been identified as 24-year-old Kusmita Morang. Kusmita was rushed to AMCH three days back in a serious condition after her health suddenly deteriorated at the makeshift camp in Tinsukia near the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
