Assam Governor Attends Tezpur University Convocation from ICU

Guwahati, January 22:  Assam Governor and chancellor of Tezpur University Professor Jagdish Mukhi is attending the 18th convocation of the institution while being hospitalized in Guwahati.
Professor Jagdish Mukhi is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Apollo Hospitals, Guwahati.“ .He will supervise the convocation and award the degrees and diplomas to the students virtually.The convocation will be held virtually on January 22, to bestow degrees and diplomas upon the students who passed out in the year 2020.While Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the occasion virtually as the chief guest, education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’and chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal will be the guests of honour.
