Farmers to March Till Parliament on Budget Day

New Delhi, January 27 :  Intensifying their protests, the farmers’ unions have now announced that they will march to Parliament House from different locations on February 1 when the Union Budget is scheduled to be presented. After the Republic Day violence during the tractor parade, the farmers’ unions had a meeting today, January 27 wherein it was decided that the farmers will carry on with their protests. Meanwhile, the situation is still tense in the capital New Delhi, and its adjoining areas. Vehicular traffic and metro services have been suspended in areas like Ghaziabad, ITO. All roads leading to Lutyens Delhi have been closed. Security was heightened at border areas too, where the protesters have been camping since November against three farm laws.
