USA, January 16:  With people around the world changing to apps like Telegram and Signal after WhatsApp’s new policy, Whatsapp, on Friday, took the decision to postpone its data-sharing change. Earlier, the deadline for accepting the new policy was February 8. The policy allows Facebook to use the data shared over WhatsApp. Although WhatsApp had previously clarified that private chats are still end-to-end encrypted and cannot be seen by any third party, WhatsApp users have questioned this decision of the company and many users have shifted to other messaging apps like Signal and Telegram . WhatsApp has taken the decision to extend the date till May 15 and the company will be using this time to clear up misinformation about privacy and security.
