Tourism is one of the world’s most important economic sectors.

It employs one in every ten people of earth and provides livelihood to hundreds of millions more.

It invests for a more sustainable future for the people and for our mother earth also.

The world tourism day 2023 is under the theme ’’Tourism and green investment’’ shows the need for a better- targeted sustainable development.

Since 1980, the United Nations world tourism organizations has celebrated world tourism day on September 27.

The headquarters of world tourism organization is situated in Madrid (Spain).

On the day of tourism, the organizations of all over the world promote and explore tourism for history, heritage, culture and adventure.

India is always being a centre of attraction for the tourists of all over the world. It attracts people with the cultural diversity and natural beauty.

To promote tourism in India, the government has been implementing a number of campaigns and schemes.

Indian is a vast country with a lot to offer.

It has vibrant cities to peaceful country side.

It maintains the age old practice which is beneficial for health and body also.

Yoga is now become a new trend in the foreign countries.

There are many kinds of tourism in India i.e. adventure tourism, beach tourism, cultural tourism, eco tourism, medical tourism wildlife tourism etc.

each of them has different enjoyment and historical background which is sufficient to astonished the travelers.

Among all the north- eastern state, Assam always attract people with its calm and composed environment.

It has much more tourism attractions which give everyone a thrilling experience.

Meanwhile, the magical assamese food also attracts people towards its lap.

The tourism business of Assam has a much more scope for growth.

It has much more resources beyond our imagination.

Many unemployed people can also earn through tourism.

Now- a- days, in the era of digitalization, we can taking advantage of various social media and digital platform and can make Assam the centre of attraction of tourism among the other countries of India.

All people want some mental peace and a sound health also.

Therefore, people have an urge to explore various places and gather knowledge about that place.

Travelling is an integral part of people’s life and we can’t deny it.

Therefore, tourism is equally important like any other industries to help the tourists and make a sustainable environment for everyone.
