Assam Congress Unites with 5 Political Parties to Oust BJP

Guwahati, January 20: GUWAHATI: The Assam Congress has formed a united front ahead of the Assam Assembly polls. The party has claimed that the alliance will be to fight the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) out of power in the state.
The five political parties that united with the Congress include CPM, CPI, CPI (ML), Anchalik Gana Morcha (AGM) and the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).
“We invite the regional parties to join hands with us against our fight to remove the ruling Government from Assam. Our doors are open for all Anti-BJP parties,” Ripun Bora posted on Twitter.
