Section 144 Imposed in Parts of Guwahati 

Guwahati, January 22 :  Section 144 have been imposed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shri Rajveer in the entire Central Police District, Guwahati which covers areas under Paltanbazar, Panbazar, Latasil, Chandmari, Geetanagar, Pragjyotishpur, Noonmati and Satgaon Police Station. The order was issued on 21st January, 2021.
The order was issued after concerns of disturbance by unspecified persons or groups to the normal functioning of offices, movement of public and flow of traffic in parts of Central Police District, Guwahati, breaching peace and public order.
