Two New Foot Over-Bridge with Lifts, Escalator Inaugurated in Guwahati
Guwahati, February 1: Two new foot over-bridges equipped with lifts and escalator have been inaugurated in GS Road area of Guwahati.
The bridges located at Ganeshguri (near Apollo Hospital) and Christian Basti (near post office) were inaugurated by Assam PWD minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on February 1, Monday.
Upon inauguration, hundreds of Guwahatians were seen gathering around both the bridge and clicking selfies. This caused massive traffic jam in the area and made difficult for the commuters.
