New Strict Rules Imposed for Pillion Riding
Guwahati, Dec 4 : In a new order issued by the Kamrup District Transportation Department, both riders on two-wheelers are made compulsory to wear helmets. Violation of the rule may result in license cancelation and a fine of 1000 rupees. The order was announced by the newly appointed District Transport Officer , Gautam Das. He also urged not to drink and use mobile phones while driving.
