Assam Completes 55 lakh COVID-19 Tests
Guwahati, Dec 9: The Assam government has completed 55 lakh COVID-19 tests since February 2020. As per statistics, Assam averaged 5 lakh tests per month. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has saluted the efforts of the health workers .So far, Assam has registered 2,14,019 cases with 2,09,444 discharged along with 997 deaths. Currently, there are 3,575 active cases with the latest positivity rate being 0.47% out of 19,955 tests conducted on December 8.
