You are already aware that on 17th December, the elections for the Tiwa Autonomous Council is going to be held, and six constituencies of Kamrup Metro District are included. Out of these six constituencies, the Sonapur constituency has been renamed as No. 36 Sonapur Constituency. And from this constituency, I, Gopikanta Medhi, am contesting on behalf of Bhartiya Jatiya Congress party. I request you to analyze all the candidates who are contesting here and cast your valuable vote to the one whom you feel is the most deserving, and give the opportunity to serve the public.

I believe my past life as a lawyer was one of truth, non-violence, dedication and honesty, and I have abided my past duties based on these values and I promise to continue serving the people with these values. So, I hope you to give your valuable vote and make me the winner. This is my humble request to you.

Therefore, in the upcoming elections of Tiwa Autonomous Council, you have a special role to play, which you have been playing responsibly till now and I hope in this election as well, I believe you will elect a deserving candidate to serve the public, who will take you forward in the right path, with honesty and in an unbiased manner.
