UPPL Chief Pramod Bodo Takes Oath as BTR CEM
Kokrajhar, December 15 :  UPPL Chief Pramod Bodo was sworn in as the new Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) on Tuesday at a function held at Greenland, Bodofa Nagar in Kokrajhar. Bodo took oath in the presence of Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor and Assam minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma along with other dignitaries. Meanwhile, the former National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) leader Govindo Basumatary was sworn in as the Deputy-CEM.During the oath-taking ceremony, the new BTC chief Pramod Bodo said that he will work for the people of the region.
