Agartala to host book fair from February 26

Agartala, January 12:  The 39th edition of the Agartala Book Fair will commence from February 26 in Agartala. Deputy chief minister Jishnu Deb Barma on Monday announced that the 39th edition of the Agartala Book Fair will be held at the Hapania International Fair Ground in Agartala. The theme for the book fair this year is “Amader Tripura, Srestha Tripura”, literally meaning “Our Tripura, Best Tripura”. Several publishers from Bangladesh, Guwahati and Kolkata will be participating in the book fair this year. The 12-day book fair will wind up on March 9.
