Guwahati JD(U) Forms State Executive Council A 30-member State Executive Council

Guwahati, January 17: The Janta Dal (United) Assam Pradesh has formed a 30-member State Executive Council (EC), appointed a State convener each for its minority and women cells, besides appointing 15 district conveners in the State. Addressing the media at Dispur Press Club, national secretary and in-charge of Assam unit of the party Sanjay Verma stated, “We will field candidates in the Assam Legislative Assembly election this year.” He also said that he had conversations with the Adivasi, Tribal and Bihari communities of Assam. “We’ll work for the development of these communities,” he said.
