Two women allegedly commit suicide in Manipur
Imphal, February 5 :
The 19-year-old woman was found dead on her bed on Thursday morning at Yairipok in Imphal East district, TOI reported.
Locals suspect she died due to consumption of excessive pills as a lot of them were found near her body.
On the other hand, the 14-year-old girl was found hanging at her Kakching Khunou residence in Kakching district on Wednesday evening.
Police said the victim sent messages and made video calls to her friend before taking the extreme step.
The girl’s body has been sent to Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) for postmortem examination.
