Guwahati, February 6:
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has arrived in Guwahati, Assam.
She was welcomed by Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP National Vice president Baijayant Jay Panda.
Sitharaman will take part in state government functions before the election MCC comes into force, as BJP steps up its campaign for the upcoming Assam Election 2021.
She will attend the Cha Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Mela ceremony as the Chief Guest in Guwahati.
