Snow Leopards Test Positive for COVID-19

United States, December 14: Three snow leopards have been tested positive for COVID-19 in a zoo in Kentucky, United States of America. Among the three leopards, two are male and one is female. “The symptoms of the leopards are mild and they are expected to recover soon. They are likely to have been infected from one of our asymptomatic staff member,” stated the Zoo officials to the media. The leopards are having a mild cough as reported to the media.
