Serum Institute of India reveals price of COVID-19 vaccine

Guwahati, January 4:  On Sunday, the Serum Institute of India’s vaccine was given emergency approval by the Government on the condition that it did not export the vaccine to other countries. As reported by the Associated Press, Company CEO Adar Poonawalla has informed that currently they can only give doses to the Indian government at the price of Rs. 200/dose to the private market at a cost of Rs. 1000/dose. The ban on exports however means that smaller and third world nations will have to wait for the vaccine.
