Rapido riders throng Guwahati office

Guwahati, January 10:  Rapido riders across the city stormed the head office of Rapido at Ajanta Path, Ganeshguri on Saturday, January 9. The riders put forwards their demands which included increasing the payout per ride and initiation of a kilometer based payment.
The discussions soon took an argumentative tone when the riders barged out of the office threatening to approach the Dispur police and the District Transport Authority (DTO) regarding the matter. “We will soon start a protest again from the 25th January onwards. If the demands are not met, we will boycott Rapido” , said one of its member.
