Joyshree Das Verma appointed Honorary Consul in NE to represent Israel

Guwahati, January 11:  To further increase its presence and collaborations in Northeast, Israel has appointed Joyshree Das Verma as honorary consul in the region. The Embassy of Israel in India appointed Das Verma as Honorary Consul in the Northeast, to be based in Assam with jurisdiction over the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura and Sikkim. “ I am proud to present the credentials of Israeli Honorary Consul to Joyshree Das Verma, who will work with us to further strengthen our growing partnership in this region,” said Ambassador of Israel Dr Ron Malka, announcing the appointment.
